Why I made Pause First

I run Cykeldyrlægen, a small mobile vaccination practice in Copenhagen, so I see dogs and cats in their own homes.

That's where the clues are: how they eat, how they move, what's in the cupboard. But in a consultation, it's hard to remember dates, changes and names on the spot. That's completely normal.

Your vet is the detective. You're the key witness. Pause First is an app that helps you gather what you've noticed, so it actually makes it into the room.

My background

I graduated from the University of Copenhagen in 2013. I've done food safety inspections in the Faroe Islands and general and emergency practice in northern Sweden. Since 2019, I've worked part-time as an official veterinarian for the Faroese Food and Veterinary Authority, handling animal travel and import. In April 2025, I opened Cykeldyrlægen.
