I made Pause First™ because I kept noticing the same thing: the details that matter most often don't make it into the room.
My name is Ólbrith Hansen. I'm a veterinarian, and Pause First™ came from something I noticed.
Owners would come in clearly worried about their pet. They'd noticed something at home: a change in appetite, a limp, a shift in behaviour. But once they were in the exam room, the details would start to slip. Timelines got fuzzy. Questions were forgotten. Things they meant to say were left unsaid.
It wasn't a lack of care. It was the opposite. They cared so much that the pressure of the moment made it hard to think clearly.
So I built a simple preparation tool based on the kind of questions veterinarians actually ask during consultations, turned into something any pet owner can use before every visit.
It's not a diagnostic tool, and it doesn't replace veterinary advice. It just helps make sure the things you notice at home actually make it into the conversation, because those observations matter more than most people realise.
